Cookie Mixer--September 19

Everyone is invited to hang around for cookies, drinks, games for the kids, and a great opportunity to meet new friends right after the 10 am service at Canyon Ridge School.The Cookie Mixer is a great time to look over all the new small groups, meet group leaders, enjoy some yummy cookies, and mingle with folks after church.
We'll have cookies, drinks, and some inflatables for the kids. Hope you'll stick around and mix it up with us.

Keep in mind that the Leaders Meeting is typically the 3rd Sunday of every month. Ministry Leaders only at this meeting.Bring a potluck dish and side or dessert to share.

Small Groups Begin--Sept. 26

All Small Groups start back up on the week of September 26th. 
Horizon Small Groups consist of a small group of 10 to 20 people who meet together weekly to study the Bible and get to know each other. Most groups have something for kids too, so the whole family can enjoy a small group together.
Horizon Small groups meet on a semester schedule with specific start and end dates that coincide with most of the area school schedules.
NOW is a great time to sign up and check out a group since everyone will be signing up and getting involved at the same time.

know some new people. We'll meet following morning service around 1pm on Sunday, September 26th, at a location that is soon to be announced. BBQ will be provided and we ask that everyone brings a side dish and dessert to share. Make plans to come hang out!

Discovering Church Membership Class covers everything you want to know about Horizon so you can make an informed decision about whether or not you want to commit to the mission of reaching people and families in the Surprise area with the life enpowering truth of Christ! We'll cover our history, vision, beliefs, and strategy for making a difference in our community and world.

Play at the Park!--Oct. 24
[Church Announcements]
Everyone come and join us for a day at the park! We will be meeting at the park across the street from the Horizon House (17325 W. Saguaro Ln., two blocks due south of Canyon Ridge) on Sunday, March 28th at approximately 1:00pm. Bring your own lunch, drinks, and chairs and the church will provide fun, fun, fun! We will have bouncies for the kids and we'll be playing various field games so bring your running shoes! Hope to see you there!
